The ALPHA7 program is the ongoing flagship Go To High School, Go to College program. The program was started 25 years ago to serve African American male middle to high school young men. The program has served hundreds of young men and women from Wake County over the past 25 years.
The ALPHA7 Program serves young African American males from the 6th-12th grades.
The program instills and teaches;
-Morals
-Advocacy/Service
-Life Skills
-Literacy
-Critical Thinking
-Team Building
-Leadership
On a Monthly basis the young men are taken on field trips to different college and university campuses up and down the East coast.
